New IQR version 6.0

IQR 6.0 is the next generation client/server version in the long line of IQR software products. Some of its new inventory management features and functions include:

  • Choice of either Day's Supply or Week's Supply mode
  • Enhanced processing logic for uneven demand
  • Option of weekly requirements data for first month
  • Additional visibility of open supply orders
  • Multi-site analysis to identify transfer opportunities
  • New “Tree View” user interface
  • Expanded filter capability to create more granular datasets
  • Centralized server-based processing with thin clients
  • Customize your own field names throughout the program
  • Update action codes and comments for multiple parts at one time
  • Centralized Administrative functions to manage licenses and datasets.

The IQR 6.0 Server is MS SQL based and can be installed your existing MS SQL Enterprise Server, or comes with an installable version of MSDE.  The IQR 6.0 Client supports the following Microsoft operating systems: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP.

IQR 6.1 Release

The first major update for IQR 6.0 is now available to download, click Download now for new installations, or you can update your existing IQR 6.0.xxx install.  To extract the installation files for new installs, contact IQR International at 949-487-5400 for the password. 

To update the your existing clients and server, place this file Update.exe in the root of each client installation directory (default is c:\program files\iqr inventory management).  Double click on update.exe in the directory and it will update the files for the client, server and the databases on the server.  All subsequent client updates will only update the client.

The new features in IQR 6.1 include the following:

  • Currency Conversion functionality by Plant
  • Dataset Combine/Merge functionality for datasets from disparate databases
  • Three additional QL screens for User Defined 2-4
  • Added sanity check for processing bad extract file so comments/action codes are not lost when extract file is incorrect
  • Support for SQL 2005
  • Four additional Multiple Locations screens to help load balance parts in multiple locations
  • Back button to return to previously run report
  • Expanded Part Number and Description fields from 25 to 40 characters
  • IQR 6.1 client now supports Microsoft Windows Vista
  • Updated Help to describe all new features/functionality

IQR 6.1 is available at no additional cost as part of the IQR Software Maintenance Agreement.
